Laura bermúdez
Co-Founder, Executive Director-
Laura is a Honduran filmmaker, film curator and cultural activist. "Negra soy", her latest short film received the Audience Award in the "Affirming Women's Rights" section of the Malaga Spanish Film Festival in 2018, and was an official selection at the Sheffield International Documentary Film Festival in England. She has been awarded grants for the Berlinale Talents program (2021), the Guadalajara Talents program (2019), the American Film Showcase program (2019), the Emerging Curator Academy Industry at Locarno Panama (2019), the Goethe Institute (2017) and the Ibermedia program (2019). Winner of the Gabriel García Márquez Stimulus feature film development fund (2017), winner of the ECAMC production fund granted by the Mexican Institute of Cinematography IMCINE and the Miradas de Ambulante - Netflix fund for her first feature documentary "Allá donde nace el sol" which is currently in post-production stage. Co-founder and Curator of the film exhibition of women directors of El Sueño de Alicia (2018, 2019, 2020), Curator of the I Muestra de Cine Centroamericano in Rio de Janeiro Brazil (2018). She is co-founder of Tercer Cine.
Josie Guerrero

Graduated in Business Administration with orientation in Event Organization at Universidad Tecnológica UNITEC, 1 year of experience at Hotel Marriot as an Event Agent making quotations and supervising events, and 4 years at Hotel Portal del Angel, in administrative functions. As a producer, she worked for one year at Greit Media production company in model management, locations, crew, and general production. Micro-entrepreneur with equipment for events. She is co-founder of Tercer Cine.
Juan Pedro agurcia
Co-Founder, Curator and Programmer, Producer-
Juan Pedro Agurcia works in cinema production, programming, promotion and distribution. At Tercer Cine, he recently served as Senior Producer and Curator of Fragments and Memories: Human Rights Film Festival. He has been the Producer of the Cinema Tropical Awards since 2019, and was also the Online Producer of the 67th Flaherty Film Seminar: Continents of Drifting Clouds, the Producer of the UnionDocs Breakout Symposium 2021 and the Producer of the event New Nature: An Immersive Media and Climate Science Exchange, sponsored by the Goethe-Institut. He is also co-founder and editor of Corrientes, a trilingual digital platform dedicated to broadening access to and opening conversations with and through experimental Latin American cinema.
Joaquín roca
Co-Founder
Joaquín is an actor, photographer, stilt walker, cultural promoter, popular educator and workshop leader, he dedicated 10 years to independent theater in Argentina as an actor with more than 400 performances. He has worked with young people in situations of high vulnerability of rights, coordinating Culture and Sports of the "Envión Program" in the Municipality of La Matanza, Buenos Aires, planning and executing public policies. He has developed workshops of plastic art, childhood/gender and recycling based on the work of the plastic artist Antonio Berni, carried out in schools, NGOs and grassroots social organizations, articulating with factories and local recycling spaces, through culture. He co-founded the Bachillerato Popular Germán Abdala, in La Boca, Buenos Aires. He is co-founder of Tercer Cine.
